Professional Headshots.

Professional Headshots · West Seattle · Summer Special

Your LinkedIn photo is from a different job. Maybe a different decade. You know it needs to change — you've known for a while. Every time a recruiter looks you up, every time a potential client Googles you, every time you submit a speaker bio, that old photo is doing its best to represent who you are today. It isn't.

You fix that
in one afternoon.
10 professionally retouched photos, in your inbox within 48 hours
45 minutes on camera — as many looks as you can fit, any mix of framings
Full studio: professional lighting, dozens of backdrop combinations, posing direction
Full commercial rights. LinkedIn, website, press kit — anywhere, forever.
Guarantee. If you don't love your photos for any reason, I'll reshoot for free. No questions asked.

"We absolutely lucked out finding Jason Surh, owner of Starfall Studios — conveniently located in our West Seattle community with flexible hours. We quickly made an appointment with Jason and had a wonderful experience. The hour or so we spent with him resulted in the extraordinary portfolio the 'three' of us can use for many occasions. EXCELLENT work for sure!"

The Outcome

What Happens After
You Leave.

You book the session. 45 minutes on camera. Gallery in 48 hours.

You open the email and there it is — a photo of you that doesn't make you cringe. Professional. Current. Actually looks like the person you are today. Not the person you were at your last company, not the one from a phone held at arm's length.

You update LinkedIn. You add it to your website. The speaker bio request goes out with a photo you're proud of. The next time someone Googles you, what comes up matches who you actually are.

That's what this afternoon buys.

For founders and entrepreneurs: The first impression your company makes before anyone picks up the phone. A profile that reflects what you've actually built.

For professionals in corporate: The headshot you won't have to apologize for when HR puts you on the all-hands slide or a recruiter pulls your profile.

For consultants, coaches, and freelancers: The photo that makes someone trust you before they've had a single conversation with you.

For anyone who's been putting this off: You did it. You have the photos. That's it.

"Recently we needed a photo headshot of my husband with exact size and resolution requirements. Our mobiles did not produce the quality photo that would be acceptable so we searched for a professional photographer. We absolutely lucked out finding Jason Surh, owner of Starfall Studios. We quickly made an appointment with Jason and had a wonderful experience. The hour or so we spent with him resulted in the extraordinary portfolio the 'three' of us can use for many occasions. EXCELLENT work for sure!"

"Starfall Studios is an incredible space, and a lot of that comes down to Jason. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating the best experience for everyone who walks through the door. He's responsive, accommodating, and goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need for a great shoot. The studio itself is beautifully designed — high ceilings, warm wood floors, and excellent lighting that makes every session feel effortless."

"Jason is a BRILLIANT photographer and videographer! Not only is his work world-class, the studio he has built is absolutely gorgeous. We had an incredibly supported time between the use of all of his equipment, interchangeable backgrounds, varied and fun lighting options, as well as the facilities of the studio. Jason is easygoing, detail-oriented, and very professional. If you are considering booking, I couldn't recommend it enough!"

Objections

Everything Stopping You
From Booking Right Now.

"I hate having my photo taken."

Most people say this. Almost none of them still feel that way by the end of the session. Posing direction is part of what's included — I'll tell you exactly where to look, how to hold your body, when to shift your weight. You don't need to know how to pose. You just need to show up.

"I don't think I photograph well."

That's almost always a lighting and direction problem, not a you problem. Controlled studio light is specifically designed to do what a phone camera and a fluorescent ceiling can't. If you've never been photographed under real studio lighting, you genuinely don't know yet what you look like in a well-shot photo.

"Is $200 really that different from just using my phone?"

Yes. A phone camera in office lighting produces office lighting. A studio session produces a professional portrait — difference in background quality, lighting depth, framing control, retouching, and how the final image reads in a small thumbnail on LinkedIn. That's the product. You can see it in the portfolio above.

"Why is this so much less than your regular headshot rate?"

My standard headshot session is $300 and up. The summer special is a packaged offer — tighter scope, fixed deliverable, deadline of August 31. Same lighting, same studio, same care. Just a more accessible entry point for people who've been putting this off.

"45 minutes doesn't seem like enough time."

It's enough. We're not doing a full production day — we're doing 10 polished photos. 45 minutes of focused shooting with direction gets you more usable images than a 3-hour session where you're figuring it out as you go. I've done this enough to know how to move efficiently.

"What if I don't like how I look in the photos?"

If you're not happy with the photos for any reason at all, I'll reshoot for free. No questions asked. I'll do everything I can during the session to make sure you walk away happy — posing adjustments, framing changes, lighting passes, as many looks as the hour allows — but if it doesn't land, just reach out and we'll make it right.

"Do I need hair and makeup?"

Not for this session. The studio has a mirror and good lighting for self touch-ups. If you want professional styling, I'm happy to point you toward people in the area — just ask when you book.

"What does 'any mix of framings' actually mean?"

Standard headshots are head and shoulders. This session includes half-body, three-quarter, and full-body in the same 45 minutes at no extra cost. You tell me on the day what you need — a LinkedIn close-up, a full-body for your website, a speaker bio portrait — and we build the session around that.

"Can I get more than 10 photos?"

Ten is the scope of this offer. If you genuinely need a larger library — more looks, more framings, brand content — that's a different conversation. Let's talk about a full-rate branding session instead.

"Can my team or partner be in some of the photos?"

This offer is for a solo session. Team shoots and partner/couple sessions are a different product. Happy to put together a custom quote — reach out and I'll make it work.

"What if I'm not based in West Seattle?"

The session happens at Starfall Studios for this offer. The studio is at 4435 35th Ave SW — accessible by car, and there's free street parking directly in front. If you need on-location shooting at your office, reach out and I'll quote it separately.

"What's the cancellation policy?"

More than 72 hours before your session: full refund. 24 to 72 hours before: studio credit for future use. Less than 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable. Same policy as every other Starfall booking.
