The Track Record

We Don't Do Soft Launches.

Two events. Both sold out. Both unlike anything else in Seattle.

Sold Out · March 2026

Meet Me In The Pit

Starfall's grand opening. Ten clown performers. Over 2,000 balloons filling a balloon pit with a dramatic red velvet curtain set. Photographers of all levels shot for ten straight hours with fully lit, fully equipped sets — nothing improvised, nothing half-done. It filled up before the public even knew it was happening.

From People Who Were There

What It Actually Felt Like

★★★★★

"I shot as a model here for a 10 hour block shoot with rotating photographers, models, and costume changes. Jason seamlessly navigated between the many hats he was wearing that day — ensuring rotations were hit on time as well as all participants' comfort and creative freedoms. One open concept space but we easily had 2 separate sets being shot at a time. 10/10"

"As soon as we got there it smelt of fresh baked cookies and music was playing. It was such a welcoming atmosphere that all my nerves about the photoshoot seemed to melt away. I will definitely be telling my friends and others about Starfall Studios. 10 out of 5 stars!"

Kitty Rage · Model · Dark Horror Group Shoot
★★★★★

"I've been to two photo events at Starfall studio and both were a slam dunk. One event was an action packed photo & video shoot with many people, music, food and even dancing. Jason was an incredible host, accommodating the needs of everyone. Far and away above other studios because of the high quality props, equipment and amenities."

Why It's Different

What You Get at a Starfall Event

These aren't meetups with a borrowed backdrop. Every Starfall event is a fully designed creative experience.

🎭

Curated Concepts, Not Generic Sets

Every event starts with a vision — a theme, a performer, an aesthetic you can't rent on your own. We build the entire thing around a creative idea so the photos are worth showing.

Portfolio shots that stand out
👥

Small, Intentional Groups

No warehouse raves. Spots are limited by design — so every attendee gets real access to the set, the subjects, and the light. You're not fighting for position all day.

Actual shooting time, not waiting time
📸

Pro Photographer On-Site

Jason handles logistics, manages rotations, and is available the whole event. Beginners and experienced shooters both leave with images they're proud of.

On-the-spot guidance when you want it
💡

Full Studio Setup Included

Every event runs with professional lighting, backdrops, and props already in place. You show up, you shoot. No hauling gear, no borrowing stands, no improvising.

Everything ready before you arrive

The Little Things That Matter

Fresh cookies, stocked drink bar, music that fits the vibe. Multiple people have mentioned the smell of cookies in their reviews. It matters. We think about all of it.

Performers You Can't Book Yourself

Clowns, armored medieval knights, fire performers — subjects who are professionals at what they do and know how to work with a camera. Collaborations we build specifically for the event.

Unique imagery that requires zero explanation
Here's the reality

Both Events Sold Out Before Public Announcements.

The people who knew first were on the list. By the time the event got posted publicly, spots were already gone. The next one will work the same way — and if you're not on the list, you'll find out about it after the fact, not before.

Questions

Answered Before You Ask

There's no set schedule — that's intentional. Every Starfall event takes real planning: finding the right performers, building or sourcing the right props, making sure the concept is worth the ticket price. We'd rather do fewer events that are genuinely great than pump out monthly meetups that feel like an afterthought. The insider list exists specifically so you're not left guessing.
The through-line is: unusual creative setups you couldn't book or recreate on your own. Past events have included a fully themed clown balloon-pit shoot (Meet Me In The Pit) and an armored medieval knight studio session (Knight Night Fights × Starfall). Future events will each have their own concept. The list will get the details the moment they're confirmed.
Yes. No catch. The list is just an email notification — you're not committing to buy tickets, you're just making sure you hear about them first. Events themselves have ticket prices (past events have been in the $40–$60 range per block), but joining the list costs nothing and puts you ahead of everyone who finds out after the announcement.
Then you don't come — no hard feelings, no pressure. The point of the list is to make sure you know about it early enough to decide. If the concept doesn't fit what you're looking for, that's fine. But if it IS your thing, you'll be glad you found out before the tickets were gone.

The List Is the Insurance Policy.

45 five-star Google reviews. Two sold-out events. A studio built specifically so that experiences like this can exist in Seattle.

Signing up takes 10 seconds. It costs nothing. And the only thing you lose by not signing up is being the person who finds out too late — again.
