Your photos don't look like you. They look like stock photos.
Every time someone Googles you, looks at your LinkedIn, or pulls your speaker bio — they're forming an opinion. A blurry phone photo or a stiff corporate headshot from three years ago isn't doing you any favors. You deserve a photo that looks like the person you actually are today.
Rent the space on your own. Hire me to shoot. Or start with a summer special and see what the studio can do.

Other Seattle studios charge $120–150/hr and leave you alone in a room.

You don't want to direct your own shoot. You want to show up and trust the photographer.
I spent 8 years as a Program Manager at Xbox and a Software Developer at Lockheed Martin. I bring that same precision to every shoot — headshots, teams, events, and brand content. Posing direction included.

Sharp, well-lit, professionally delivered photos of you at your best.
That's my end of the deal. If I miss that bar, I'll reshoot at no charge.
I give every shoot real posing direction, lighting adjustments, and as many passes as your session allows. If something is technically wrong on my end — focus, sharpness, lighting — email jason@starfallstudiosseattle.com and I'll book a free reshoot. No runaround.
Two fixed-price packages. No hidden fees. No "starting from." These are the prices.
Comparable photographers in Seattle charge $400–600+ for this. You walk away with 10 photos, delivered in 48 hours, for $200.
You've built the costume. You deserve photos that match it. A 2-hour session with 20 final images — at a rate comparable photographers charge $500+ for.
No lengthy intake forms. No back-and-forth. Book, show up, get your photos.
Pick your service, pick a time. Square handles the booking — card held at booking, charged at the end of the session. Takes 2 minutes.
I'll have the studio set up before you arrive based on your shot list. Walk in, grab a drink, and we get to work. I handle the direction.
Final retouched photos in your inbox within 48 hours via private gallery. High-res, no watermarks, full rights. Use them anywhere.
Let's run through them.
That's almost always a lighting and direction problem, not a you problem. Phone cameras in office lighting produce office-lighting photos. Controlled studio light — aimed correctly, diffused properly — is specifically designed to do what your phone can't. If you've never been photographed under real studio gear, you genuinely don't know yet what you look like in a well-shot photo. Most people are surprised.
Every recruiter, client, or collaborator who looks you up online forms their first impression from your photo — before they read a single word of your bio. A professional photo that actually looks like you is the cheapest professional upgrade most people never make. The question isn't whether it's worth $200. It's how long you've been leaving that impression on the table.
I give real posing direction during the shoot — I'm not handing you a camera remote and walking away. If something is technically wrong on my end (sharpness, focus, lighting), I'll reshoot at no charge. If you want to talk through your vision before booking, email me: jason@starfallstudiosseattle.com.
Most people say this. Almost none of them still feel that way by the end of the session. I'll tell you exactly where to look, how to hold your body, when to shift your weight. You don't need to know how to pose — that's literally what I'm there for. Read the reviews — the word "comfortable" shows up more than any other.
More than 72 hours before your session: full refund. Between 24 and 72 hours: studio credit for future use. Less than 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable. Same policy for every booking at Starfall.
Summer specials end August 31. Studio is open 10am–10pm. If there's a slot open, book it — I'll have everything set up before you arrive.
